We live our lives surrounded by the histories and culture of millions of people before us. Who were those people? What were their lives like? What motivated them in life? These questions about people whose lives we will never experience, provides us answers to who we are. Ahalia Heritage Village aspires to answer these questions, and thereby bring to light the hidden gems of a culture that has long been ignored: our own.
This space is our humble attempt at unweaving the rainbow that is Indian culture. Today, our cultural heritage is at a risk of being overrun by the unstoppable forces of modernization. It is only by pausing and appreciating what we have, can we look to the future. This is our shot at it.
